Requirements for car shipping to Botswana
Botswana is landlocked so to ship a car from the UK you would need to have this shipped up to Namibia or Maputo by sea depending on where in Botswana you want it to arrive. Namibia is the most favoured choice due to the savings involved when shipping the vehicle coupled with the fact that goods can be loaded inside the vehicle when shipping it to Walvis Bay. Vehicles going to Maputo cannot have any personal belongings inside the vehicle whatsoever so this option seems to be a no go area for most customers. Our agents in Namibia can if required arrange delivery of any vehicle to Gaborone, where it is driven to keep costs down. Customers also have the option of arranging their own transport and clearance at either Namibia or Maputo if so required.
